Dr.T.Thimmaiah institute of Technology (Formerly Golden Valley Institute of Technology) was instituted in the year 1986 at Kolar Gold Fields by Late Dr.T.Thimmaiah as the founder President under the aegis of Golden Valley Educational Trust, with the sole purpose of imparting quality Technical education to reach all especially to downtrodden people in rural areas. Dr.TTIT is affiliated to Vishvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum, Approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and recognized by Government of Karnataka. Dr.TTIT has grown in reputation and merit, today regarded among the best Rural Engineering Institutes in Karnataka. Well Equipped Laboratories and Computer labs with high speed internet facility.
