We take great pleasure in introducing Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (formerly Vijayanagar Engineering College), Ballari, Karnataka as one of the best Engineering colleges in North Karnataka. Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (RYMEC) was established in the year 1980 under the aegis of Veerasaiva Vidhyavardhaka Sangha, Bellary. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum, approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and accredited by NBA, AICTE, New Delhi. We have 8 Under Graduate (ECE, CSE, ISE, AI & ML,DS, EEE, MECH,CIVIL) & 6 Post Graduate (MBA & M Tech ( Computer Science & Engg), M Tech ( Production Management), MTech ( Thermal Power Engg), M Tech( Structural Engg) & M Tech ( Digital Comm. & Networking) courses. The total BE intake of our Institution is 840 students per year.
