The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution, delivery, and commissioning of Water and wastewater projects including automation projects across multiple sites. This includes end-to-end project lifecycle management—from design, procurement, and construction to testing, automation integration, and client handover—ensuring adherence to quality, safety, time, and budget standards.

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead the planning, design review, execution, and commissioning of projects (new construction and upgradation).

• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Drive project execution with defined milestones and ensure timely delivery.

2. Automation & Digitalization

• Spearhead the implementation of automation in STP, ETP, WTP, RO etc including SCADA, PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and IoT-based remote monitoring systems.

• Collaborate with automation, electrical, and software teams to integrate smart systems.

• Oversee FAT, SAT, I/O testing, and system handover to clients with proper documentation.

3. Team Leadership

• Lead a multidisciplinary team including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation engineers, and automation specialists.

• Assign responsibilities, monitor KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and build a high-performance team culture.

4. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, local authorities, and contractors.

• Attend review meetings, present project status, handle escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Liaison with procurement and vendors for timely supply of equipment and services.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety norms, and environmental standards during all project stages.

• Implement QHSE standards and ensure documentation for audits and certifications.

6. Risk & Cost Control

• Identify project risks and mitigation strategies proactively.

• Ensure cost optimization through value engineering and resource efficiency.

• Maintain documentation of all project activities for billing and reporting.
