The candidate will work on MERLIN—EqualX’s unified IoT, SCADA and energy analytics platform—handling end-to-end integration of sensors, PLCs, MFMs, and Modbus/OPC/MQTT-based devices across solar, wind and industrial utility systems. They will be responsible for validating live data streams, troubleshooting communication issues, mapping registers, ensuring accurate field-to-cloud data flow, and supporting deployment across sites involving chillers, compressors, ZLD/ETP systems, substations, and power plants. The role spans on-site work, remote configuration, and interaction with OEM equipment, data loggers and gateways such as Enode.
Beyond integration, the candidate is expected to apply electrical and power-system fundamentals, interpret single-line diagrams, understand power quality parameters, and contribute to building dashboards and KPIs for energy monitoring and performance improvement. They must be comfortable coordinating with field teams, vendors and internal developers, documenting issues clearly, operating independently when required, and taking ownership of technical deliverables. Familiarity with Modbus, networking basics, IoT sensors, and tools like Excel (and optionally Python) will be valuable, with strong learning attitude and willingness to travel to sites when needed.
