Power Trading - Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric power markets, including renewable energy and traditional power sectors.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including energy producers, utilities, and trading partners.
Conduct market research to analyze trends, pricing, and regulatory frameworks in power trading.
Collaborate with technical teams to design trading strategies and risk management frameworks.
Negotiate and close contracts for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and energy derivatives.
Meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or trading within the energy sector.
Strong understanding of electric power markets, trading platforms, and regulatory environments.
Proven track record in closing B2B deals and building long-term client relationships.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
