Job Description
Role Purpose
To learn and operate CNC machines (Turning/Milling) under supervision, ensuring parts are produced as per drawings and quality standards while maintaining safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines as per SOPs and work instructions.
- Load/unload raw materials and finished components safely.
- Monitor machine cycles and basic parameters.
- Perform basic quality checks using gauges (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge).
- Record production data and inspection results accurately.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping at the workstation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use PPE.
- Report abnormalities, tool wear, or machine issues promptly.
Qualifications
Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
Experience: Freshers or 0–1 year in CNC operations.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read simple engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measurement tools.
