Qualification/Experience

1 - 7 years of experience in 5 Axis machine Setter & Operator in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 years in aerospace or defence sectors.

Role:

Location: Survey No. 79-82, Bidadi Main Road Hejjala, 25th KM, Industrial Area, Bidadi, Ramanagara, Karnataka – 562109.

Work Mode: WFO

Proposed Designation: Junior operator & Senior operator & Setter

Education Qualification: Diploma, ITI, bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and Operate manufacturing machinery according to production plan.
• Oversee the production line to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor product Quality and make adjustment as needed.
• Train and Supervise Production line staff
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is in good working condition.
• Maintain records pf production activities and machinery performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and Drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good understanding of machining techniques Tool selection and setup

Core Skills:

• Operate 5-axis machines to produce high-quality parts with minimal errors
• Monitor machine performance using CNC controls and adjust as needed to ensure optimal results.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve overall production efficiency.
• Set up and manage machining operations, including selecting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality control checks, and maintenance schedules
• Experience of offline programming is essential
• Proto part development experience would be preferred
• Proven experience of working with high tolerance components.
• Able to select and recommend the correct tooling to achieve the most efficient machining method.
• Sound knowledge in Geometrical Dimensioning and tolerancing
• General housekeeping of machine and area of work, TPM practice will be preferable.
