Job Description
Role Purpose
To learn and operate CNC machines (Turning/Milling) under supervision, ensuring parts are produced as per drawings and quality standards while maintaining safety and productivity & to develop skills in CNC machine setup, tool change, and parameter optimization for efficient production with minimal downtime and scrap.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines as per SOPs and work instructions.
- Load/unload raw materials and finished components safely.
- Assist in machine setup and changeovers as per setup sheets.
- Prepare tools, fixtures, and programs under supervision.
- Adjust machine parameters for quality and cycle time
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping at the workstation.
Qualifications
Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
Experience: Freshers or 01 year in CNC operations.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read simple engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measurement tools.
- Understanding of CNC setup and tooling.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
- Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection methods.
