Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Job Responsibilities:
-
Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using UG NX as per design specifications and industry standards (ASME/ISO GD&T).

Develop and modify part designs, sheet metal components, weldments, and assemblies based on project requirements.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy of drawings before release.

Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply GD&T principles correctly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement) to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

Support prototype development, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews.

Modify existing designs based on feedback, testing results, or field issues.

Maintain proper documentation, revision control, and PLM/PDM data management (Teamcenter or equivalent).

Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for part development and validation.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for continuous improvement.
