Position: Duty Doctor – Clinic Operations & Patient Counseling

Qualification: MBBS (Registered with Medical Council)

Experience: 4- 5 years,

Location: Karupur-Salem

Timing : 8am to 12pm , 4pm -8pm Monday to Saturday

Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified MBBS doctor to support our new clinic setup, focusing on both patient care and clinical counseling. The role includes outpatient consultations, health counseling, and involvement in day-to-day clinical operations.

Vee + Clinic : Part of the Valliappa Foundation initiative of the Sona group of companies. A stop solution for primary health care. We plan to start a chain of clinics in tier 2 and Tier 3 towns of India to provide primary healthcare, along with diagnostics centre and pharmacy which are designed to be powered by AI in the near future to work towards preventive care. To bring basic medical support closer to patients and provide guidance for care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient consultations and primary care treatment.Assess, diagnose, and manage patients as per clinical protocols.

• Offer preventive health advice, lifestyle counseling, and wellness education to patients.

• Counsel patients on treatment options, medication adherence, and follow-up care.

• Address patient queries with empathy, ensuring clarity on health concerns and next steps.

• Work collaboratively with nursing and paramedical staff for holistic care delivery.

• Participate in community awareness initiatives and health camps organized by the clinic.

• Ensure meticulous documentation, medical record-keeping, and compliance with regulatory norms.

• Build trust with patients, fostering long-term relationships for continued care.

• Be flexible to handle extended hours, rotation duties, and additional responsibilities during setup phases.

• Should have minimum 3 years of experience working in OPD’s or wards with patients
