About the Role
Tanish Dzignz is looking for a creative, technically strong, and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
The ideal candidate should be capable of taking a project from design concept to detailed drawings and site execution, while coordinating effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and the execution team.
We are looking for someone who does not just create attractive designs, but understands space planning, materials, detailing, practicality, budgets, and how designs are actually executed on site.
Key Responsibilities
•    Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements, lifestyle, budget, and project brief.
•    Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
•    Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for execution.
•    Prepare furniture layouts, flooring layouts, reflected ceiling plans, electrical layouts, wall elevations, toilet details, kitchen and wardrobe drawings, and other interior working drawings.
•    Develop detailed drawings for custom furniture, modular furniture, panelling, cabinetry, ceilings, and joinery.
•    Coordinate with 3D visualisers to ensure renders accurately represent the design intent.
•    Select and specify materials, finishes, laminates, veneers, stones, tiles, fabrics, wallpapers, lighting, hardware, sanitaryware, and accessories.
•    Prepare and maintain material and finish schedules.
•    Visit project sites for measurements, design coordination, quality checks, and execution reviews.
•    Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, modular furniture teams, MEP consultants, vendors, and site supervisors.
•    Identify design and execution conflicts before they become site problems.
•    Review site work against approved drawings and communicate required corrections.
•    Participate in client meetings, understand feedback, and incorporate approved changes systematically.
•    Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity requirements, specifications, and project documentation.
•    Maintain organised project folders, drawings, revisions, specifications, and approvals.
•    Ensure that the final execution remains consistent with the approved design intent.
Required Skills
The candidate should have strong knowledge of:

•    Modular kitchens and wardrobes
•    Materials and finishes
•    Lighting and electrical planning
•    False ceiling detailing
•    Basic plumbing and MEP coordination
•    Site measurements and execution
•    Vendor and contractor coordination
•    MS Office / Google Workspace
Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar 3D/rendering software will be an advantage.
Candidate Profile
•    Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
•    Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
•    Experience working on residential interior projects is preferred.
•    Exposure to premium residences, villas, luxury apartments, or turnkey projects will be an advantage.
•    Strong understanding of how drawings translate into actual site execution.
•    Good aesthetic sense with attention to proportion, materials, colours, lighting, and detailing.
•    Ability to handle multiple project responsibilities and meet deadlines.
•    Good communication and coordination skills.
•    Willingness to visit sites regularly.
•    Ability to take ownership instead of waiting for instructions at every stage.
