SEO Intern – Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Website SEO Audits and identify On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO issues.
• Conduct Keyword Research and competitor analysis.
• Support On-Page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, content and internal linking.
• Assist with Off-Page SEO and ethical link-building activities.
• Perform Backlink Analysis and monitor backlink quality.
• Support technical SEO checks for indexing, broken links, redirects, canonical tags and Core Web Vitals.
• Assist with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) for FAQs, featured snippets and conversational search.
• Gain practical exposure to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI-powered search.
• Assist with Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns.
• Monitor SEO and PPC performance metrics.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly SEO reports.
• Stay updated with SEO, AEO, GEO, PPC and AI search trends.

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO.
• Knowledge of Keyword Research, SEO Audits, Competitor Analysis and Backlink Analysis.
• Basic understanding of AEO and GEO.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
• Knowledge of tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog or Ubersuggest is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, schema markup, redirects and indexing.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work with evolving SEO and AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• SEO, Digital Marketing or Google Ads certification is an advantage.
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Practical project or internship experience in SEO is an added advantage.
