US IT Recruiter
Job description
1. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
2. Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms, job boards, professional networks) and traditional methods
3. Review resumes and credentials to pre-screen candidates and assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles.
4. Conduct telephonic interviews to evaluate candidate’s technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
5. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
6. Maintain candidate databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and ensure data accuracy.
7. Expertise in W2 hiring as well as C2C hiring and 1099 Tax terms
8. Ensuring that an adequate number of qualified candidates is submitted for all assigned client requirements in a timely manner.
9. Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruiting partners.
Key Skills:
1. Proven experience as a US IT Recruiter or similar role, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
2. Strong understanding of US IT market trends and technologies
3. Excellent communication interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
4. Strong sourcing skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
7. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
8. Knowledge of US immigration laws and visa processes.
9. Familiarity with sourcing techniques, such as Boolean searches, LinkedIn recruiting, and candidate referrals.
10. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment.
11. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.
