Job Title: Purchase Engineer (1-3yrs)

Location :- Chikhali, Pune

We are seeking a Purchase Engineer to join our Pune(Chikhali) Unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in industrial automation / Control Panel Builder / Electrical /Electronic Products Purchase activities.

As a Purchase Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the purchase & procurement process of goods and services for our organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest quality standards and adhering to company policies and Purchase & procurement ethics. 

Candidate will be responsible to Float Enquiries, Follow up for supplier prices, Create PO and follow up for supplier Deliveries.

Roles & Responsibilities

Purchase and Procurement Strategy Development: to meet business needs.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors based on their capability, pricing, quality, and reliability.

Cultivate strong relationships with key vendors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions to secure advantageous contracts.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers, optimizing value while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various requesting departments, including finance, to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions to support their objectives.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks related to geopolitical factors, economic fluctuations, Pandemics and supplier dependencies.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines throughout the procurement process

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices.

Requirements:

Diploma /Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical/Electronics and telecommunication/Mechatronic Engineering).
