Roles and Responsibilities:
Packing Responsibilities:
Prepare Orders: Receive packing orders and review them for accuracy.
Pack Items: Carefully pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring proper handling and protection to prevent damage during transit.
Labeling: Affix labels or tags to packages with necessary information such as shipping addresses, product details, and handling instructions.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to verify that packed items meet specified requirements and standards.
Inventory Management: Keep track of packed inventory and maintain organized records of packed orders.
Picking Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment: Pick items from designated locations based on order sheets or digital picking lists.
Accurate Selection: Ensure accurate selection of items by matching item codes, descriptions, and quantities.
Sorting: Organize picked items for efficient packing or shipping.
Stock Replenishment: Assist in replenishing stock on shelves or designated storage areas to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of picked items and update inventory systems accordingly.
