A sales coordinator's job is to manage the flow of a company's products or services to consumers. They do this by:
Coordinating sales teams: Assigning territories and quotas, scheduling training, and monitoring sales team progress
Managing sales presentations: Creating and updating presentation materials, such as brochures, slides, and posters
Handling orders: Inputting orders, ensuring they are accurate, and confirming they are delivered on time
Providing customer service: Answering customer questions, offering after-sales support, and arranging delivery dates
Collaborating with other departments: Working with marketing, research, design, and financing to optimize sales
Preparing reports: Creating and reviewing sales reports, and developing and maintaining filing systems
Managing budgets: Managing budgets for expenses like bonuses, marketing, and travel
Ensuring compliance: Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies
