Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B software sales, demonstrating a deep understanding of the IT industry and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. You will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, managing key accounts, and building strong business relationships to achieve and exceed sales targets. The role involves direct market research, client visits, and conducting product demonstrations to effectively communicate the value of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the B2B sector.

o Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.

o Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from initial contact through to deal closure.

2. Client Engagement and Demonstrations:

o Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored software solutions to prospective corporate clients.

o Perform on-site visits to corporate offices to deliver product demonstrations, address client queries, and build strong business relationships.

o Manage the entire sales cycle, including contract negotiations and finalizing agreements.

o Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

3. Market Research and Analysis:

o Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats within the B2B sector.

o Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.

o Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

4. Collaboration:

o Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales collateral tailored to B2B clients.

o Collaborate with the product and technical teams to ensure client needs are met and to provide feedback for product improvement.

5. Reporting and Forecasting:

o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems.

o Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

6. Professional Development:

o Continuously update knowledge of industry developments and software solutions.

o Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product expertise.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven track record of at least 1 year in B2B software sales or a similar role within the IT industry.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

• Skills:

o Strong understanding of B2B software sales processes and IT solutions.

o Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

o Proficiency in conducting effective product demonstrations and direct client visits.

o Ability to build and maintain client relationships with corporate clients.

o Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

• Achievements: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, including specific examples of past performance.

• Attributes: Highly driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
