Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is tasked with identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent to meet an organization's requirements. This role is pivotal in contributing to the continual success and growth of a company by ensuring that it hires qualified professionals who fit both the job and company culture. The Talent Acquisition Specialist acts as a liaison between potential candidates and the organization, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of a Talent Acquisition Specialist include the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization. They maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates. Additionally, this role requires proactive communication with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and the implementation of project plans for recruiting seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees. A critical component involves screening applications, managing interviews, and overseeing the hiring process, including the negotiation of salaries and employment contracts.
Tasks and Duties
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments.
Design and update job descriptions to meet the requirements for various roles within the company.
Source potential candidates through online channels, like LinkedIn and other professional networks.
Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.).
Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
Lead employer branding initiatives and collaborate with the marketing department to ensure a consistent company message.
Negotiate offers with candidates to close gaps in the recruitment process
