Job Summary:

U&C HR Solutions, a leading staffing firm in Coimbatore, is seeking a skilled CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL Programmer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control), VMC (Vertical Machining Center), HMC (Horizontal Machining Center), TC (Turning Center), and VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Machine Programming:

• Develop CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.

• Optimize programs for efficiency and quality, making necessary adjustments as required.

2. Machine Setup:

• Set up CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL machines by installing fixtures, tools, and loading materials.

• Ensure proper alignment and calibration of machines before production runs.

3. Machine Operation:

• Operate CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL machines to perform machining operations such as drilling, milling, turning, and boring.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine operation or product quality.

5. Maintenance and Safety:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL Programmer/Operator or similar role.

2. Proficiency in programming CNC/VMC/HMC/TC/VTL machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).

3. Sound knowledge of machining techniques and processes.

4. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

5. Strong attention to detail and precision.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

7. Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.

8. Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
