Job Description
Job Summary: The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities at construction sites or other operational locations to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Site Management: Oversee daily operations at the site, including the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce all safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure that the work environment adheres to safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Quality Control: Monitor work quality and ensure that construction activities meet project specifications and industry standards. Address any issues or defects promptly.
• Schedule and Budget Management: Develop and manage site schedules, track project progress, and work within budget constraints. Report any deviations from the plan to the Project Manager and propose solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and any incidents. Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed properly.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate site staff, including subcontractors and laborers. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure that work is performed efficiently and to high standards.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues or obstacles on site and implement solutions to overcome them. Adapt to changing conditions and manage unexpected challenges effectively.
