Job Description

• Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about our courses using sales scripts.

• Place a minimum of 150 phone calls to potential clients from our database.

• Perform script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of sales program.

• Answer potential clients’ questions about our courses.

• Generate between 5 and 15 prospect sales leads per day.

• Set appointments with prospective customers based on our schedules.

• Maintain computer, telephone and other equipment.

• Train other telemarketers as and when required.

• Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to the manager.

• Refer customer complaints to the manager.

• Answering questions about products or the company.

• Asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.

• Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.

• Enter and update customer information in the database.

• Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.

• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.

• Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.

• Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

• Using sales scripts proffered by the company to drive sales and respond to customer rejections.

• Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.

• Always communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers.

• Continually meeting or exceed daily and monthly targets with respect to call volume and sales.
