We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vendor Onboarding Specialist to join our team. The Vendor Onboarding Specialist will play a crucial role in expanding our network of vendors and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Outreach: Identify and reach out to potential vendors to onboard them onto our platform. This includes contacting suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to establish partnerships.
Onboarding Process: Guide vendors through the onboarding process, providing them with the necessary information and support to set up their accounts, upload product listings, and integrate with our platform.
Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all necessary documentation, including contracts, agreements, and certifications, are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to vendors on how to use our platform effectively, including troubleshooting technical issues and answering inquiries promptly.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on vendor listings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with our standards and guidelines.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, serving as their main point of contact and addressing any concerns or feedback they may have.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze vendor performance metrics, such as sales, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction, and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in vendor management, supplier relations, or account management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and software, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
Knowledge of product data management and content management systems is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
