Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
• Develop, execute, and oversee business strategies to achieve growth and positive customer ratings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT sector across various regions.
• Create and manage business development plans, forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams.
Client Relationship Management:
• Maintain and cultivate strong professional relationships with clients.
• Build and strengthen relationships with potential clients.
• Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Expansion:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new regions and segments.
• Negotiate contracts and secure new deals to achieve revenue targets.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business development within the IT industry.
• Strong understanding of sales and negotiation techniques.
• 2–6 years of proven experience in business development/sales for IT services/software consulting companies.
• Experience working in diverse markets, particularly in the U.S., UK, Middle East, Europe, and Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of technology services like web development, cloud computing, app development, enterprise software solutions, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
• Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• A Business Development Manager in IT, dealing with diverse locations like the U.S., U.K., Middle East, Europe, and Australia, will likely work a standard 40-hour week, but with significant flexibility and potential for extended hours.
