Connecting Graduates with Employers: HireMee signs MoU with AICTE

We have joined hands with the All India Council of Technical Education to help connect thousands of fresh graduates from all parts of the country, including those from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and towns, with top recruiters.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe and Mr. Chocko Valliappa in the presence of other senior officials from AICTE and NASSCOM. According to the agreement, HireMee will provide unique placement solutions to all students from colleges affiliated to the AICTE. With our unique video profile feature, students from all over India can use HireMee as a platform to showcase their talents and add a personal touch to their resume and profiles.

Our unique 7-digit assessment score will help recruiters choose the right candidate for their companies and at the same time provide students with a platform to showcase their talents and abilities.

Chocko Valliappa, our respected founder said, “We aim to flip the current recruitment model where most recruiters work on a tight budget, visiting only a handful of top ranked institutes in the respective field for campus placement. Students from other lesser known and far off institutes are left out of the campus placement. We have lots of brilliant students in these institutes and we want all of them to realize their potential to the fullest. HireMee does not charge students for accessing its portal and app and at the same time ensures that they get jobs commensurate with their skills and capabilities.”

He also added that by the end of 2018, HireMee aspires to conduct one million job assessments so as to generate 100,000 jobs by the end of 2018. The MoU will surely help HireMee bridge the student-recruiter gap.

The Chairman of AICTE, Dr. Anil D Sahasrabudhe, who represented AICTE and signed the MoU said, “HireMee is a dream come true app for the youth looking for jobs. By locating the right candidate for a job, HireMee will not only bridge the ‘recruiter-student’ gap but will also contribute to employment generation in the country, especially the rural literate population. The MOU was vetted by AICTE teams to assess its value to the student community.”

Thousands of students will now be able to directly connect to top recruiters and companies in India through our free mobile app and digital portal.
